Listed on the same terms as everyone else
We compare student health insurance for 35 countries. Every tariff is assessed against the same criteria — whether or not we have a commercial agreement with the provider. That is what makes the comparison useful to students, and to you.
A commercial agreement can change how a student reaches you. It never changes where you rank.
Students choose insurance for a visa, an enrollment deadline and often a first stay abroad. They need an accurate answer, not an advertisement. We therefore keep our editorial assessment separate from our commercial relationships — and disclose those relationships on every page with affiliate links.
What every listing is based on
These principles apply to all providers, including those who pay us nothing.
Your own documents
We assess tariffs from policy wording, price lists and product information — not from marketing copy.
One set of criteria
Visa compliance, coverage limits, deductibles, waiting periods, exclusions, language of documents and service — applied to every tariff in the same way.
Disclosed remuneration
Pages with affiliate links carry a visible disclosure. We never present a paid placement as editorial content.
Which tariffs we list
We list a tariff when students can rely on it for the purpose we show it for.
- Meets a published requirementFor the visa, residence permit or enrollment it is shown for — or clearly labeled where it does not.
- Complete, public termsPolicy wording and price list are available to the student before signing up.
- Understandable in EnglishAt least a summary of cover and the sign-up process in English.
- A working claims and complaints routeA named contact for claims and complaints, and the relevant ombudsman or supervisory authority.
- Verifiable pricesPrices we can verify on a fixed date; promotional prices are shown as such.
- Authorized to sellLicensed or authorized to offer the product in the market concerned.
What you can expect — and what we decline
The same rules apply whether or not we have an agreement with you.
We will
- Present your tariff accuratelyWith the terms that matter to students, including limitations.
- Correct errors promptlySend us the correction with its source; we review it and update the page.
- Re-check regularlyPrices are re-verified every quarter, and terms whenever you tell us about a change.
- Report in aggregateIf we have an agreement: referral figures per country — never personal data.
We do not
- Sell ranking positionsNo paid top spots and no paid badges such as “Best choice”.
- Publish paid content as editorialNo advertorials and no sponsored guides.
- Share student dataThe Insurance Finder runs in the browser; its answers are not passed to providers.
- Agree exclusivityCompetitors stay listed on the same terms.
How students reach you
Always disclosed on the page. It never affects the assessment.
Link to your sign-up
The student reads our assessment and continues to your own website to sign up. The link is tracked only if we have an affiliate agreement with you — and the page then says so.
We compare and link — we do not sell, arrange or broker insurance. The student signs up with you, and you issue the policy and the insurance certificate.
