This means an acute case you are already being treated for will not be cut off the moment the policy expires.
No waiting period applies if ReiseCare follows on seamlessly from your previous insurance, i.e. with no gap in cover. A waiting period only applies if there is a gap after your prior policy ended — in that case a 7-day waiting period applies, and it covers accidents only during those first 7 days.
